Reasons of Orthographic Variation in Astrological Terminology

Abstract

    Terms synonymy and terms variation are usually distinguished in the works on Lithuanian terminology, but the causes determining these the two phenomena are often considered as common or the differences between them are not emphasised. Stronger emphasis is placed on the reasons for synonymy. This article focuses on the causes of orthographic variation in astrological terminology. The work is based on texts published in astrology websites.
