Coordination in the Structure of Terms: Terms with Conjunctions "ir (ar)", "ir (arba)" “and (or)ˮ

Abstract

    The article analyses one type of terms with coordinate constituents, that is to say, terms with alternative conjunctions. The research material was taken from the Term bank of the Republic of Lithuania. The article is aimed at determining the features of the formal structure of the terms with coordinate constituents joined by alternative conjunctions ir (ar/arba) “and/orˮ, the semantic relations between these constituents and discussing the terminological value of such terms.
